Production Operatives (Flexi Working Linton and Bury St Edmunds)

Linton/Bury St Edmunds

  • Ref: NTXKU382634
  • Closes: 2019-03-29

We have a number of vacancies for Operatives to work flexibly between two of our factories, Bury St Edmunds and Linton. The hours of work will be 40 hours per week over a working week of Sunday to Saturday with overtime available on occasion. The successful candidates will form a flexible team who provide support at either of the two sites covering peak seasonal periods, providing additional resource during periods of promotional activity and potentially holiday cover. Full training will be given to carry out tasks across various production areas of our business, predominately in temperature controlled areas.

There will be a requirement to be flexible with the days and hours worked each week and this will be confirmed in advance, providing appropriate notice. There will also be the opportunity for you to confirm days where you are unavailable to work, without having to use your holiday entitlement and so providing you with some flexibility.

Benefits currently associated with this role are a competitive salary to accommodate the flexibility required, pension scheme, staff sales and discounts at a large number of retail outlets and restaurants.

People Are Our Difference!

The successful applicant will be able to work on their own initiative, be self-motivated and able to undertake all aspects of what can be a physically demanding role. You will be comfortable working as part of a team as well as working under your own initiative. Flexibility and a ‘can do’ attitude is a must.

We value our workforce and are fully committed to developing our people and allowing them to show their full potential. If you are as serious about food as we are and ready to help us make a difference, we would like to hear from you.
