Adam Fincham, Category Analyst

I joined Tulip in November 2010 after I graduated from university with a Business Degree. I joined as a Category Marketing Analyst in the Central Marketing team, supporting the Brand team and various Senior Category Managers across a number of accounts.

During my time at Tulip I have received in-house training with experienced category marketers, had the opportunity to develop further on external courses with industry leading training providers and I have also joined the Graduate Scheme for 2011-2012.

At the beginning of 2012 I moved into a new role where I will work in a dedicated team that aims to drive further business for Tulip in a number of accounts offering massive growth opportunities. With this move comes greater responsibility and the opportunity of greater exposure to some of the UK's major supermarkets' Buyers.

After graduating, my aim was to get a Marketing Graduate level role in the FMCG industry and Tulip has given me this opportunity. I'd recommend Tulip to any aspiring graduate because it is a very large progressive organisation and with this comes many opportunities to progress and develop. If you double this with Tulip's emphasis on investing in its people, no matter how junior or senior, then this really is an excellent time to work for Tulip.

Lucy Powell, Business Executive for Tesco Fresh Pork and One Stop Account Manager

I joined Tulip in September 2009 as a graduate on the Production Graduate Scheme at our Boston site.

Throughout the graduate scheme I have been given the opportunity to develop my knowledge of the business as a whole and meet other people in the business with whom I have built relationships. The training supplied by Tulip has provided me with the necessary skills needed to approach tasks with a different perspective and has boosted my confidence.

From the moment I joined Tulip I have received support and excellent training which has allowed me to develop. In my short time at the business I have worked my way up from a graduate to my current role as Business Executive for Tesco Fresh Pork and One Stop Account Manager. This would not have been possible without the thorough training and dedicated support provided by Tulip.
