Kind hearted colleagues from across the Tulip business have reached a major milestone by breaking through the £10,000 barrier in their bid to raise a staggering £25,000 for this year’s chosen corporate charity, Shelter.
The money has been raised through a whole host of activities, from sponsored sleep outs in factory car parks to participating in the gruelling Ride 100 charity cycle ride, the team at Tulip have pulled out all the stops and are now well on course to achieve their overall £25,000 target.
“Each year we choose a corporate charity to fundraise for, with all moneys raised at our sites divided equally between our chosen charity and local worthy causes, I am incredibly proud of the fundraising efforts from everyone across the group, which I know will help make a real difference to people in need throughout the UK.”
And Pippa Wisbey, from Shelter, added; “We are delighted to hear that Tulip have reached the £10,000 milestone in their fundraising for Shelter- what a fantastic achievement! Their generosity could help a huge 1,250 people through Shelter’s national helpline, where our expert advisors provide a lifeline to anyone facing the devastating effects of losing their home.
“On behalf of everyone at here I would like to say a massive thank you Tulip, and keep up the good work!”
Shelter is the UK’s leading housing and homelessness charity, helping millions of people across the country each year who are at risk of losing their homes or living in unsafe conditions.
