We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Assistant Planner to join the Bury St Edmunds lamb team.
Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility on start and finishing times. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team providing overall assistance to ensure smooth running of the Lamb department.
The main duties of the role will be:
Assist & provide cover for the Lamb Planner
To run and maintain forecasted stock plans & orders on Excel
Monitor service levels
Liaise with production on stock levels & the usage of raw material
Maintain paperwork for all stock deliveries
Liaise with various departments/sites within the Tulip group & external suppliers & customers to ensure accurate stock levels and stock movements
Manage stock levels through SAP and Arolink & capture any downgrades
Raise Purchase Orders on SAP
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills and good IT skills with Excel at an intermediate level. A good understanding of production operations would be beneficial but not essential.
Food manufacturing experience is desirable but training will be provided.
