Delivering business success through our people

We are currently looking for a talented Category Manager, CapEx, Spare Parts & Services and to join the Danish Crown Procurement team in the UK. Reporting into Denmark, you will be responsible for securing clear category strategy within specific material category. You will engage proactively with stakeholders to secure aligned decisions and gain access to innovation from suppliers and market.

You will drive procurement excellence within sub-categories by increasing overall value from the supply base and by providing support and knowledge to the Danish Crown business whilst maximising the commercial benefit by clustering total material consumption across business units. You will fully understand the Total Cost Ownership and Total Value Ownership analysis models.

Proven experience in Procurement/Strategic Sourcing/Category Management, desirable from an FMCG Food manufacturing background. You will be educated to degree level or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience, hold a relevant business or purchasing qualification (CIPS). A strong business acumen and excellent analytical skills, you will be proficient in negotiating and contract management with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
