We are seeking high-quality Class 2 (C) and Class 1 (C&E) Livestock Drivers to join our dedicated in-house transport team based either in Halesworth, Suffolk or in Kings Lynn, Norfolk. The successful candidates will play a crucial part in our expanding business by transporting livestock across the UK. Ideal candidates will be either Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) drivers with livestock experience and a valid NPTC qualification, with a real commitment to animal welfare. Although livestock experience would be preferred it is not essential as full training and support will be given to the right candidates.
Varying work patterns including day work and tramping, therefore it is important that you are self-motivated and have a flexible and enthusiastic approach. You must hold a valid driver CPC and a valid digital tachograph card, with a good understanding of tachograph legislation and drivers’ working hours.
The successful candidates could earn in excess of £40,000 p.a. , depending upon work patterns and license held, in addition all breaks are paid with an overnight subsistence rate of £30.00 per night, plus all necessary expenses will be reimbursed. A range of other benefits are available.
You will also receive 31 days holiday (including Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day). Full uniform and PPE will be supplied, as will be any refresher training as required. For Class 2 (C) drivers, there could be an opportunity for advancement to Class 1 (C+E) licence.
