We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operational Excellence Specialist. Working together with the Head of Operational Excellence, directing and managing the Operational Excellence Management method to leverage profitability whilst taking ownership and responsibility for delivery across all our sites.
With strong analytical skills along with excellent written and spoken communication skills, our preferred candidate will co-own the Management Pillar implementation by teaching all its tools, training our people, serving as support in case of questions and keeping the material always updated with any improvement developed. Providing regular status updates of the Management Method implementation to the head of Operational Excellence. You will frequently audit sites giving constructive formal / informal feedback and support, including agreed action plans.
Leading a team of Coordinators of Operational Excellence across our Abattoir sites, helping them in the implementation and execution of the Management Method tools and processes in their sites, you will also run gap analysis for all the business units, consolidating them on a monthly basis to have the horizontal (drivers) and vertical (plants) views and impacts to the business.
Our ideal candidate will possess real impactful gravitas and presence an enthusiastic self-starter with lots of energy and passion. Experience in Lean Manufacture / Continuous Improvement with a proven experience of delivering and embedding CI processes in an Operational Environment particularly in FMCG. You will have the ability to implement change management, including cultural change and can evidence creating strong culture of involvement and influence with people through empowerment and coaching. Travelling to all of our sites in the UK will form a part of this role.
