This is an exciting new role here at our Bodmin site. You will be responsible for managing and providing Efficient and effective facilitation and management of all Health, Safety and Environmental issues on site. Ensuring that all employees are aware of their Health, Safety and Environment obligations and that they operate in adherence with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation.

You will also have responsibility for managing and providing a proactive, effective, engaging training service to the site and all key stakeholders. Ensuring the site is compliant with the mandatory off the job training requirements of the Pilgrim Technical, SHE & Engineering Training Matrices & site customers codes of Practice.

You will be part of the Senior Leadership Team helping to make a difference to the site and ensure that the site is compliant in all SHE and Training aspects.

Candidates will need to hold a NEBOSH diploma or equivalent, have an Environmental qualification and ideally will also hold a recognised training qualification.

We are looking for a person with a can do attitude, that is passionate about both Health & Safety and Training. Ideally candidates will have experience of Health & Safety / Training within a Food manufacturing environment, with experience on completing audits and presenting findings to the senior team and above.
