Title: Stores Controller (Nights)

Site: Redruth

We are looking to recruit a Night Stores Controller at our Redruth site who will play a key role in maintaining an efficient running of production lines on the site. ALL Training will be provided for the successful candidate.

The site is operational 5 days a week; therefore a flexible approach is a must to ensure that a consistent level of service is provided to all departments and shifts.

You will be required to undertake all of the following:

To be responsible for ensuring the packaging Arolink and physical stocks are transacted and reconciled to the required level in order to support site reporting
To assist in preparing and investigation of daily packaging stock reconciliation.
To monitor all operating stock systems, identify errors, make corrections and investigate root causes
To ensure that the stock is transacted accurately throughout the process. Ensure product retains batch traceability and aid in the customer traceability requirements.
To challenge and support operational Arolink compliance and assist in the correction of transactional errors.
To work closely with the dry goods team to ensure accuracy and track stock levels and at risk stocks.
To clean and tidy work areas so that hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained and undertake straightforward hygiene tasks.
To define and develop various reporting logs on a daily/weekly basis and reconciled to Arolink transactions.

Successful applicants will:

Have good attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills.
Have the ability to understand written specifications and produce documentation.
Have the ability to work independently, use their initiative, and work as part of a team.
Have a flexible approach to work.
Have the ability to learn and be trained to required skills.
Have good organisational skills
Preferably have fork lift driving capabilities.
Preferably have a basic understanding of health and safety and food safety
