Our agricultural division, BQP is the largest pig producer in the UK working with over 350 partnership farmers to supply high welfare, quality pork products to premium markets. Part of the Tulip group, we are a totally integrated business and are proud of our ‘farm to fork’ approach.

We are looking to recruit an individual to provide support to carry out administrative tasks for the Supply Chain Development Team contributing to the effective delivery of objectives and KPI’s.

The team is made up of 5 people and has a wide ranging remit throughout the company working with many different teams both internally and externally, therefore good communication and organisational skills are key, you will have the opportunity to become involved in key aspects of our business:-

Supporting the team to ensure all our pig farms from breeding through to finishing are fully assured and compliant to customer on farm standards. This will include:

Weekly compliance checks
Managing several internal and external databases
Keeping records up to date.

Working directly with the team manager;

Communicating weekly pricing
Minute/meeting coordination
Assisting in the coordination and information flow of external pig sales and purchases both direct to farmers and through marketing groups.
Coordination of customer visits

Information collection from key stakeholders.
Managing excel spreadsheets for forecasting purposes.

We are looking for a collaborative team player with a high attention to detail and accurate input data skills, proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Databases. You must also be a confident communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong business relations through exceptional customer service. You must also be able to work unsupervised, be well organised and have good time management skills.
